An expert on my field

Hello everyone: Today I will talk about Miguel Angel Altieri. He studied agriculture at the University of Chile. Later in  l976 Altieri graduated with a M.S. in Agroecology at the National University of Colombia. And finally in 1979 he graduated with a Ph.D. in entomology at the University of Florida. Two years later Miguel became Professor of agroecology at the University of California and he has remained there until today. I like Miguel Altieri because he has promoted agro-ecology as a strategy for sustainable development in Latin America. He has also advised important organizations such as: the Latin American agro-Ecology and Development Consortium (CLADES), he was general Coordinator of the United Nations Development Programme, also Altiri was chairman of the NGO Committee Of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research, among other things. Climate change

Hello everyone: Today I will talk about climate change. Climate change is a reality and no one can say otherwise. Is very important that everyone take conscience of the relevance of this theme because this problem threatens us all. Honestly, I don't think reversing this problem is possible, I think it's possible to stop it so it won't keep getting worse, but I don't think ours world return to be like in the past. However, to manage stop the progress of climate change, it is absolutely necessary that all the countries of the world contribute to this cause.  On the other hand, climate change does not arise as in the movies, a change is slow. It is sufficient to investigate a little Internet to realize that climate change is real, and I find it unacceptable that the President of the United States make statements as retrograde as saying that "climate change is a Chinese invention". Finally, I think that more public policy should be to protect our environment.

My favourite photograph

Hello everyone! This photograph is from this last summer, the people who appear from left to right are Esteban, me and Magdalena. We were in the Tatio geysers. I do not remember exactly who took the picture because that day we made several friends who took pictures. This photo I really like because it represents one of the most expected moments for me on that trip. It was a nice but cold experience haha, at that time they did-6 °c so you can imagine how I felt. But the feeling was very pleasant when 20 minutes later I bathed in a thermos in the same place! It was simply unforgettable. There is nothing in this time that makes me happier than traveling, so my favorite photo could not be another. And do you like to travel? The immigrants in Chile

Hello everyone, today I will write about the immigrants in Chile. In my opinion, Chileans are very little empathic with us brothers foreigner. Every day, immigrants are discriminated by Chileans, and I honestly feel that no one would like to treat in this way in a place unknown. I do not know any particular immigrant but when I meet someone who needs help with some direction, I try to be very kind. With respect to new policies, I think it is necessary. Not all immigrants come looking for new opportunities, a different way to emerge, there are many who come with bad intentions. This last summer I stayed a few days in Antofagasta, there a girl told me that the nights were very dangerous since the Colombian arrived in the city. This kind of thing is the that should not be allowed. What do you think about it? Regards!

My favourite piece of technology

Hi everyone! Today I am going to talk about the technology and about my favourite piece of technology. I born in a technological age so that I am used to the technology. I born in a technological age and for this I am used to the technology. From small I had video game, TV, and when I was teen I had cell phone, pm3, and another things.  I think that the technology today is part of us. We are very used to her and even is difficult imagine the life without the technology. My favourite piece of technology is my computer because it is very complete as a computer can do almost all a cell phone does, which is my second favourite piece of technology. In a computer I can watch TV, watch series, watch news, also I can browse for internet  information, and a lot other things. Regards.

why I did choose my career?

hello everyone! what are you been? Although you don't believe it, I didn't know that I wanted to study never. I remind that when I was a child in first basic the teacher gave us schoolwork about ''What we wanted to be when great'' and we have that paint the profession. Here there is an example:  And I remind that it was my first bad grade, a red Jajaja. When I was in high school I also didn't know that studying, finally, I chose agriculture without knowing too much about it, like the vast majority of young people when they choose a career.  During my life at the university I was able to learn more about my career. My biggest career crisis is that I like everything lol. At this moment, in the future, I see myself in the fruticulture area.

My autobiography

   Hello!, my name is Fernando and this is my first post. I am 21 years old. I was born in Santiago of Chile.  I have a brother and his name is Cristobal. My parents are Marina and Fernando. I studied in Estela Segura School in Puente Alto. In this School I am studied the primary school and high school. I am studing Agriculture in the Agronomic Sciences Faculty, University of Chile. I am in my fourth year of study in the University. When I was eighteen years old chose study agriculture, honestly I didn't sure of my decision, buy today I am very happy for my choice. I love my career.    Also in my free time I like listen music. My kind of music prefer are pop and electronica. Always I liked travel. I travel a lot place in Chile and when I finish of know my country I want follow knowing other places in the world.    On the other hand, I dislike noise, and for this is that for my, live in Santiago it's ok, but I wish live in a place more relax, as the country.
